Experience the spirit of the holiday season! Festivities begin in the City Centre at the Mayor’s Tree Lighting Ceremony. Sing carols as you stroll down Portage Creek Bicentennial Park Trail behind a horse-drawn wagon with Santa and Mrs. Claus to Celery Flats. Children can share their holiday wishes with Santa at Stuart Manor or mail their letters to the North Pole inside the Schoolhouse. Watch ice sculpture demonstrations and enjoy local musical talent performing traditional holiday favorites. Complimentary milk and desserts will be available in the Grain Elevator and the Portage Community Center will offer seasonal beverages, like hot chocolate and cider – donations welcome.
