Community Engagement & Crime Prevention
By actively engaging with the community, law enforcement agencies can build trust, improve communication, and empower residents to play an active role in creating safer neighborhoods.
The Community Engagement and Resolution Team (CERT) develops programs and activities aimed at crime prevention, education, and enforcement. CERT also supports patrol units and the Detective Bureau with targeted efforts to address chronic criminal activity.
