The Portage Parks system is multi-faceted with activities and opportunities for families and people of all ages. Parks enhance the quality of life in Portage by providing recreational and social benefits. Whether you are a resident or visitor, a variety of recreational opportunities are available for your enjoyment. Ramona Park Beach 

(8600 South Sprinkle Road, 1/2 mile south of Centre Avenue)


RAMONA BEACH ADMISSION FEE IS WAIVED 
FOR CITY OF PORTAGE RESIDENTS IN 2023


Ramona Park Beach offers a sandy swim area with lifeguards, kayak, canoe, and paddleboard rentals. The beach also includes concessions, picnic areas, fishing docks, beach volleyball, a playground, changing rooms, and more! Vehicle permits for entry into Ramona Park can be obtained on-site near the park entrance during regular beach hours. Proof of residency is required to receive a resident annual pass.

Open daily on beach operating dates 11 AM - 6 PM

All watercraft:
» $12 for first hour
» $5 each additional 30 minutes
» $36 flat rate for 4-6 hours
» Life jackets included
