VOTE FOR YOUR 2019 RECYCLED ART IN THE PARK PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD!
ONLINE VOTING OPEN FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4 @ 4 PM UNTIL FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11 @ 12 PM

In partnership with the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo, Art Hop and Recycled Art in the Park are combined as Art Hop “South.” Stroll through artist exhibitions featuring various mediums of art including oil, pottery, acrylic and more. Enjoy live music, food and beverages available for purchase from the on-site food truck and beer tent. 

This event also kicks off the Recycled Art in the Park contest, a sculpture contest and exhibition featuring sculptures made with materials that would normally be thrown away. Eat, drink and dance while pondering your Recycled Art in the Park People’s Choice vote. Recycled Art in the Park Awards will begin at 7 PM.  The contest sculptures will be displayed at the Celery Flats Historical Area for public viewing through Saturday, October 12.

Ice Rink At Millennium Park9098517-large[1]

The Ice Rink at Millennium Park will open for its 20th season on Thursday, December 5, 2019! The rink will remain open through Sunday, March 1, 2020, weather permitting. The large outdoor refrigerated rink features skate rentals, skate sharpening, snack concessions, restrooms, lockers and an excellent skating surface! 

Ice resurfacing occurs from 3:30 - 4:30 PM on weekends and daily from December 23 - January 5.
