  2. School of Fish Day Camp- Little Lunkers

    Day campers will experience all the joys and benefits associated with fishing and environmental conservation. During this unique adventure, youth will have the opportunity to explore the outdoors and learn skills necessary to start their own fishing memories.     We’ll be hopping in the lake to help participants get stronger and leaner with minimal impact on the joints! Aqua Boot Camp offers core training and improves cardiovascular endurance, balance, flexibility and strength using pool noodles and other buoyancy toys. Aqua Boot Camp is a high-intensity, low-impact shallow water class that is fun, fast and effective. Water shoes are recommended.   4. Shakespeare in the Park

    The Kalamazoo Civic Theatre’s Academy of Theatre Arts presents Shakespeare Outside: The Comedy of Errors. Shakespeare’s shortest and most farcical play about mistaken identity, it has everything from puns and wordplay to slapstick and physical comedy. When two sets of identical twins are separated at birth and then unknowingly end up in the same city, chaos and comedy ensue! Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday showings will be at 2 p.m., while Friday and Saturday showings will be at 7 p.m. All showings will be free, however they will be ticketed, as there is limited space. Please also note that the Hayloft Theatre will be the rain location for all showings.
