Ramona Park Waterfront Lifeguards
The City of Portage is seeking highly responsible individuals for the positions of Lifeguard. This position monitor beach activities, perform facility and beach maintenance, works concession stand as well as canoe, kayak and paddle board rentals. Previous lifeguard experience and Red Cross certification preferred but not mandatory. Lifeguard Certification Training will be provided. Must be a strong swimmer and successfully complete the mandatory training program held mid May. Season runs mid-May through August; hours and shifts vary, potentially 30-40 hours/week. Must be available through Labor Day, including weekends and holidays. Must be at least 16 years of age. Pay rates are $9.00-9.50/hour commensurate with experience.
