Ramona Park beach is the premier public beach in Kalamazoo County, offering a sandy swim area with lifeguards, boat rentals, concessions, picnic areas, fishing dock, beach volleyball, playground, changing rooms and much more!
Vehicle permits for entry into Ramona Park can be obtained on site, near the park entrance during regular beach hours. Season passes can be acquired at Portage Parks & Recreation (7900 South Westnedge Avenue) beginning May 1. (Proof of residency required to receive resident annual pass.)

Kayak, Canoe and Paddleboard Rentals
Open daily on beach operating dates, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. All watercraft: $12 for first hour, $5 each additional 30 minutes, $36 flat rate for 4-6 hours.
