The 6th Annual Winter Blast Half Marathon, 10k and 5k, presented in partnership by Kalamazoo Area Runners and the City of Portage will be held Sunday, February 25, 2018
The City of Portage Board of Review can approve a one-year exemption from property taxes due to a resident’s poverty income level. This annual property tax exemption requires the applicant to currently be receiving the Principal Residence Exemption and meet the federal household poverty exemption guidelines for the previous calendar year
Property Assessment Change Notices to be Mailed to Property Owners in February and Board of Review to Convene in March

Plowing of streets is prioritized according to how heavily the streets are traveled
City offers repair or replacement of damaged mailboxes due to snow plow operations
Assistance from businesses, residents and property owners is appreciated to keep key public areas free of snow and ice accumulation during the winter weather months.
No parking on public streets between the hours of 2 a.m. at 6 a.m. from November 1 through April 15
